The Woad Raiders are desperate brigands, outcasts of Calderan society, who live in makeshift junk communities out in the wasteland areas of Caldera. They prey on the weak and will stoop to anything in order to survive or profit. It is best to avoid large groups of these raiders, but sometimes catching them by surprise is enough to secure victory. Most of the raiders lack any intelligence, the bands being made up mostly of the dregs of civilization.
